TROPICAL STORM BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

Tropical Storm Barbara Forms in the Eastern Pacific

A new tropical storm has formed strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is presently located about 250 miles east of Mexico's Baja California. Forecasters are expecting that Barbara will intensify over the next few days. The storm is moving in a west-northwesterly direction at a rate of 20 mph.
